Request for a Device

Dear OLMC Families,
As you know, your child will be learning virtually next week, beginning tomorrow afternoon. If you require a device, please complete this form (https://forms.gle/sYsxPTUQSCcNStRP8) by Monday at 10:00 a.m. so that we can coordinate distribution for Monday afternoon between at 12:00-2:00. Only an adult can pick up the technology and it must be returned by an adult Friday afternoon no later than 3:00 (unless virtual learning is extended longer). Complete one form for each of your children who needs a device. We will send out a confirmation email Monday morning shortly after 10:00 with details about the pick up. If you have left a message or emailed the school requesting a device, please complete the form regardless.

A few extra details you should know:

- The distribution of devices will only occur on Monday, no exceptions.
- Attendance will be taken daily so if your child is not logged in, you will receive an automated attendance call. If your child is opting out of synchronous learning for the week, please inform the teacher or school and we will mark them absent approved.
- Your child in Gr. 1-6 will follow their usual school schedule and will have French, and unsupervised "recess" and lunch at their usual time. Kindergarten classes will follow a schedule different than their regular one. Teachers will be in contact with details later Monday morning.
- The school board either has sent or will send communication with tutorials for parents about the student portal, Hapara and logging into a virtual meet.
