Friday, March 22 is Pajama Day in support of our Lenten Project, OK Clean Water. This organization aims to provide the resources and support for water management teams in order to make clean water readily available to villages in the area of Kumbo, Cameroon. Prayer for Peace

Prayer for Peace from our Director of Education, Ms. Denise Andre

We pray for the Muslim community around the world as we all grieve the victims of violence.  We are united in faith by the God of Abraham. Help us to find strength in the hope of your love and inspire us to bring this hope to others.  May our Muslim neighbours in Canada and around the world feel supported and comforted in these challenging times and may God bring peace and comfort to all.

Busy Week

posted Mar 3, 2019, 7:34 AM by Debbie Lloyd

Dear OLMC Families,

We have a very busy week ahead at OLMC.

Shrove Tuesday: The Knights of Columbus are hosting a pancake lunch to supplement your child's lunch for Shrove Tuesday. We thank them for their continued support of and partnership with our community.

Ash Wednesday: Students will gather for an Ash Wednesday liturgy where they will receive ashes on the forehead in recognition of the beginning of Lent.

Tubing Trip: You should have submitted your child's permission slip last week. Please let your child's teacher know if you require a new one. We will not be calling the morning of the trip for verbal permission and children without written permission will have to back at school. Ensure that your child is dressed warmly with snow pants, boots, hat and mitts. Gr. 1-3 students will attend Thursday and Gr. 4-6 students Friday.

March Break: The school is closed during March Break from March 9 to March 17 inclusive. We will see students back at school March 18th. Enjoy your family time together!
